One Sip at a Time Ritual
Inspired by Stress Management Society’s theme for this month #LittleByLittle which highlights the transformative impact of consistent, small positive actions on over-all wellbeing, we decided to go back to basics and focus this month’s ritual on simplicity.
Drinking Cacao Mindfully
· To practice mindful cacao drinking, start by creating or finding a space free from distractions where you can fully immerse yourself in the ritual.
· Take a few moments to set an intention for your day, whether it's to relax, find clarity, or cultivate gratitude.
· Slowly prepare your Ritual Cacao brew, remaining present and paying attention to each step of the process.
· As the cacao heats and the aroma fills the air, allow yourself to slow down and appreciate the simple beauty of this moment.
· Once your brew is ready, settle into your space and get comfortable.
· As you sip your cacao, allow yourself to be fully present in the experience. Notice the warmth of the cup in your hands, the rich aroma of the cacao, and the sensation as it touches your lips. With each sip, let go of any distractions and immerse yourself fully in the pleasure of this nourishing beverage.
· Take deep breaths and notice how the cacao makes you feel, both physically and emotionally.
· As you continue to drink your cacao, embrace the practice of mindfulness. Notice the thoughts and sensations that arise without judgment, simply observing them as they come and go with curiosity and compassion.
