Ixcacao was historically invoked in rituals and ceremonies for blessings of love, fertility and abundance.
With a voluptuous shape and breasts that resemble cacao pods, Ixcacao’s hands form a small offering bowl which can hold a chunk of cacao or some cacao beans or nibs, making a wonderful addition to any cacao shrine, altar or mantel piece and the perfect gift.
Purchasing this gift supports indigenous communities in the Amazon as well as local craftspeople in the UK: each statue is hand-made by Kishi Bay Childs, an up-and-coming artist based in Glastonbury.
