A Poetic Journey With Ritual Cacao
If you read our monthly blog, you will know it’s International Day Of The World’s Indigenous Peoples on 9th August. So we wanted to make this month’s Ritual all about honouring our indigenous peoples, and the sacred lands they preserve and protect.
Join us this month on a magical journey of connection and creativity, as we invite you to embrace the sacred ritual of poetry. Using cacao as our creative muse, we will unlock the poetic power within us, and pay tribute to the beautiful rainforest and its Indigenous guardians.
Let our words become prayers and intentions to help protect the rainforest and its people.
Step 1: Find a quiet space where you can tune out the noise and chaos of the daily world, and tune into your creative juices.
Step 2: Prepare a cup of ceremonial-grade Ritual Cacao, hold the cup close and breathe in the delicious, heart-opening aroma, feeling the energy of the cacao beans that comes straight from the rainforest, flowing through you.
Step 3: Mindfully sip your cacao, allowing its warmth to awaken your senses and creativity. Feel the connection to the rainforest's wisdom, generations of Indigenous guardians protecting the land, and the life force that unites us all.
Step 4: With cacao's inspiration coursing through you, let your pen dance on the paper (or keyboard). Craft a poem or words that celebrate the rainforest's beauty, the Indigenous people's wisdom, and the unity of all living beings. Speak from your heart, and let your words become offerings of love and gratitude.
Step 5: As you finish your poetic creation, offer it as a heartfelt tribute to the rainforest and its inhabitants. Visualise your words flowing like a gentle stream, carrying your love and appreciation into the hearts of the our Indigenous communities.
May our poetic prayers reach the heart of the rainforest and our indigenous communities, and strengthen the energetic bond between humanity and nature.
In the heart of the rainforest, where spirits dance,
Lies a sacred gift, cacao's divine trance.
Through generations, we've nurtured this land,
Guardians we all are, united as a tribe we stand.
